Negative financial record due to FNB
I bought a Ford Fiesta in 2006,which was involved in an accident and eventually written off. I bought another Ford Fiesta in the same year which was paid off about three years ago and a paid up letter was issued by Wesbank. I was shocked to hear that I am recorded as a bad debtor by this bank yesterday when I tried to source finance for another vehicle. I wish to know what was the cause of this, because after having purchased a Fiesta I bought another car without issues, why all of a sudden do I learn this nonsense about my financial status. I am seriously aggrieved by the fact that I was refused finance based on these allegations and I am going to take it to the Banks' Ombudsman who will investigate it further. I always speak highly of FNB but this treatment has made me think twice. I am a loyal customer of this institution, surely they can see how I conduct my finances but to my dismay I get the backhand sort of treatment. If this matter doesn't get resolved with 24hrs, I will ensure that the consumer complaints and all other related platforms know about this ill-treatment.

(Supplier name changed from First National Bank to Wesbank by Hellopeter.com)
