I recently had to apply for misplaced Natis documents via Wesbank Client Services. The following sequence of annoyances ocurred leaving a sour taste and disappointment in what I believed from previous experience was a very proffessional com 1. I was told the do not allow Head Office collection because of Covid so instead of on;y paying R 370 rand I would need to an extra R70 for delivery to a DSV locker. 2. I received the email and it offered me both options collection or Locker which was in contradiction to what I had been told . I then called again highlighting this discrepancy and was told they hadn't updated the template. 3. I then tried to find a Locker in my area and found nothing. I call the Wesbank customer centre again and the agent didn't understand . But after the broken english engagement I finally found a locker and was told by the agent no that doesnt exist I asked that she revisit her statement and somehow the locker Ihad referred to was now part of the to send to lockers. 4. Dutifully I paid the expected fee and followed up this morning if they had received my proof of payment and was told it takes a two day turnaround for confirmation of paymenyt . The email received mentions 3 to 5 days for the documents to be delivered. I am now not sure if this includes the two day turnaround for payment confirmation which changes the lead time based onthe email 5 to 7 days. Once again misleading.
My engagment with Wesbank to get copies of misplaced documents from Natis was really a very misleading and frustrating experience. The agents do not from my perspective undestand the process and busk their repsonces. Covid cannot be an excuse for sloppy customer care.
