Labeled as ********** by Wesbank without conducting a proper investigation:

My wife and I both have our personal accounts with Capitec Bank. We recently re located to Cape Town and in an effort to reduce our monthly expenses, we app**** for motor vehicle finance through a dealership in Pretoria (to replace an existing vehicle). After submitting all of our application documents and forms via email to the dealership in Pretoria, we were informed by Capitec, that my wife’s savings account had been placed on hold, due to ********** documents - submitted to Wesbank. The application forms provided to the dealership were never signed by neither me nor my wife - all documentation was send via email. How do we then have control over what is submitted to various financial institutions and in what tampered or “rectified “version. Why would Wesbank proceed and label the so called applicants as potential ********* and inform Capitec accordingly, without at any stage in this process communicating Wesbank’s decision to the applicants - surely you have all of our contact information - email / cellphone ? We have after several requests not been able to obtain copies of the documentation submitted to Wesbank by the third party dealership. The only information we were able to obtain from Capitec, was the name of the Wesbank Forensic employee (Rebecca Mokhaba) dealing with this - how do we communicate with an employee where you are not able to obtain an email address or contact telephone number.

What really concerns us, is the fact that just in the “Hello Peter” space, there are a number of prominent similarities in the non-satisfactory conduct where WESBANK is mentioned, resulting in a multiple other frustrated and inconvenienced customers.
