14 Aug 2015, 16:51Hello DebsF,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and in addressing the concerns raised herein, we wish to highlight the following:
A Naedo debit order is universally programmed to not penalize the consumer whenever a debit order is unsuccessful in an effort to minimize the ramifications and costs associated to returned debit orders. According to our records, the Naedo debit order was presented on two occasions and return with a notification indicating that the same was not provided for. This default is rightly reported to the credit bureaus in keeping with the terms of the Agreement as well as the regulations of the National Credit Act. We wish to also highlight Collections Solutions, an agency acting on behalf of WesBank, may charge a levy in lieu of the breach of contract. The levy, as prescribed by the Debt Collectors Act (DCA), allows a levy to be charged until such a time as the outstanding amount is paid however their attempts to make contact have not been successful thus far.
We trust that this is in order and assure you of our best intentions at all times.
Yours sincerely,
WesBank
