Installment Date prior to payment date Penalty
My instalment date according to the contract as just confirmed by the collections person at Wesbank is on the 28th of each month, which is the same date as my payment date, this has now been changed to the last day of the month.<br> <br> During June 2015 the instalment was put through on the 27th which will fail due to this being prior to the salary pay date, as well as being before the actual instalment date.<br> <br> Now I am being charged a R300 odd penalty and interest, ITC is affected all because the bank issued an instalment during the wrong period.<br> <br> This should be addressed and attended to as it was not my fault that the bank issued the instalment earlier.

Direct contact has been made to clarify that the early submitted Naedo debit order is universally programmed to not penalize the consumer whenever a debit order is unsuccessful in an effort to minimize the ramifications and costs associated to returned debit orders. The Naedo debit order also tracks for three days and was presented on two occasions from 27 June 2015; returning with a notification indicating that the same was not provided for according to our records. An arrangement has been concluded subsequently with Collections Solution with full advice provided in terms thereof.
