*********** staff of deceased estates department of Wesbank

<p>My patience is running thin with Wesbank's *********** staff at the deceased estates department. Mr. Colin Goulouw who initially corresponded with me regarding my deceased father's Estate and the matter of two vehicles was of no help. He took ages to respond and when I finally received feedback he made calculation errors of the outstanding amount where I had to set the facts straight and adviced him how to calculate the outstanding balance after the insurance policy - death benefit paid Wesbank. The insurance policy even made a second payment after I queried the settlement and also inform Mr. Goulouw of that. The outstanding amount was then R6 777.90. I asked Mr. Goulouw several times via email to send me an updated statement and a letter confirming the outstanding amount so that I can arrange for payment with the estate bank account. Colin Goulouw did not respond, I only received and automatic response that he no longer works with deceased estates. So I emailed another employee Renata Applegreen with who I had to start the whole process again and supply her with all the info who then came up with a new amount that was outstanding R35383. I almost thought it was an April fool's joke... So I told her this could not be and showed her the correct calculations. I also told her as I told Mr. Goulouw that we will not be held responsible for any accumulated interested because of delay in administration caused by *********** staff of Wesbank, who can't do basic calculations and cannot keep track of one's account and most importantly never ever respond. I went forward and settled the account with the little money my mother has (because of Wesbank's delay the estate is not finalised) and still no response for months. So what do you know... I received an email today by another person Mr. Riaaz Allie asking when we will pay the outstanding amount of R29829.. and here we go again for round number 3. I AM FED UP! I came to the conclusion that this company is trying to stretch the length of the process... Bying time so that they can accumulate or add interest for outstanding accounts and prey on a deceased man's Estate who lives in Danville for heavens sake! I would be very grateful if there's someone listening who can help me end this matter. Please please please... :-(</p>
