Incompetence: Collecting a debt that is fully paid

First of all, the Call Centre is pathetic and the agents have no idea what their job is ultimately about. They do not care about servicing customers. I was sent from pillar to post with no help and being made to go from one person to the next for more than 20 minutes of my time and money (it costs to call you in case you do not know).

The issue is, on 28 May 2021, I asked for a settlement quote for the Wesbank Cashpower loan. A settlement letter with a settlement amount of R75,622.42 was issued to me. On the same day, I made a payment in full settlement of this loan. On 15 June 2021, you debited my Nedbank current account. How come? I do not owe you anything. How can you collect a debt that does not exist? Please refund my money and also update your systems to indicate that I settled your loan as per the Settlement Agreement with you (it is a contract, and you Cashpower are in breach).
