Horrible Bad Debts Recovery

I had vehicle finance with since 2009 when I purchased a BMW 320i. I was faithfully paying all these years without any default until I stopped working in Sept 2013. I had savings and knew that I will get a job eventually. SO I paid until about July 2014. Then I let Wesbank know of my situation Sept 2013 that I had run out of savings. Nov 2013 I started working and initiated contact with WB to resume payments & update my details. Between then and now, I have been bul****, sent from pillar to post, referred to 100s of others, numerous emails & no banking details to pay at. I asked my private banker to assist as the WB is clearly not user friendly for such situations. WB then advised a re-finance application. I completed & submitted everything. It was indicated to my banker that I will then be contacted upon approval/decline. Nothing! No email. I currently need to buy a car & am unable to get financing because of this ridiculous debt which I have tried many times to deal with. All my other creditors have been paid. Now WB has my name in the mud. I eventually got payment details on 18 Aug but no letter to state this initiation till 6months! Yet WB gets no smack for their non-action?!!
