HARRASSMENT and INTIMIDATING Wesbank
I am writing today to complain of the terrible service and HARRASSMENT I received from wesbank . On May 31, 2021. I was visited by a representative of Wesbank,(Shawn Isaacs) at my place of employment . The representative showed up without a scheduled meeting, which is in serious violation of the health and safety Covid-19 protocols that my employer follows. Due to company protocols we do not entertain face to face meetings, I have had Covid-19 for 3 weeks and was on sick leave for a further 4 weeks. We take these protocols seriously. He was dressed in sandals and a ***i hat- extremely unprofessional - and approached my colleague without providing any identification. This is not appropriate behaviour.
I subsequently emailed him to enquire what was the purpose for his Unscheduled visit , his reply was "My job entails that I drive to customer that are in arrears whereby the customer either pay full arrears or hand vehicle back to Bank"
This is shocking !!!
Last week (24/5/21 @ 15.30)i waited 30 mins on the telephone to speak to a consultant (Tabeso), we agreed on repayment terms , i requested this arrangement in writing. The next day i get a call from Shawn Isaacs , requesting arrears, i said to check the system , because ive spoken to Tabeso. He emails me back saying that i agreed to pay full arrears immediately . I disagreed with his understanding of the arrangement and requested a copy of the telephone conversation which i had with Tabeso
Despite being in email communication with Mr Iscaas , he still arrives unannouced at my place of employment .... feels like ************
I trust this is not the way Wesbank wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I have been with the institution for a long period of time and have purchased all my vehicles thru them for the past 15 years The Actions of this morning, makes me as a customer feel very threatened and uncomfortable.
How many other insecure customers do they intimidate with these tactics ???
We can all agree that business in general is extremely tough globally.
Is this the ‘sympathetic to our customers’ way of doing business Wesbank ?
