Greedy Wesbank

If I could give Wesbank minus reviews I would. The treatment I am receiving from them is pathetic and actually lacking in sympathy. I will never ever in my life advise anyone to finance a vehicle through them or use any of the banking products for First Rand due to the way they are behaving. My father who earned R28k per month was allowed by Wesbank to purchase a vehicle WITHOUT credit life insurance for over R**** in January 2023. On 1 September my dad passed away and when I realized the car was financed I asked Wesbank to please come and collect their car! Ever since I have been hounded by Wesbank to settle the R****! I’m not the executor because there is no estate. They asked for paperwork proving such I have provided it. And yet now they are sending me lawyers letters threatening me with legal action for something I was never part of. For an area that they dropped the ball in. How on earth did you give a frail 60 year old man such car finance without credit life? How did you give it to him on such a salary? It’s pathetic what organizations will do for money.
