Forced insurance charges

Last month I received a mail from wesbank advising that they will load insurance on my motor finance account and they would add it to my premium. This was done because I did not confirm my insurance with them.
1.My question is this how can you force me to take your insurance without my consent. Please advise if this is in accordance with the NCA and CPA
2. I sent you confirmation of my insurance yesterday and 1/3/2016 and requested a response anda refund and I have heard nothing from you.
3. I requested that all insurance cover that was loaded on that account be cancelled with immediate effect and that the premiums for this month be refunded immediately

Hello wakie82,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, affording us the opportunity to investigate the matter at hand.

Our insurance representative has communicated with you to clarify the ODP process, as well as to reiterate the importance of keeping our asset comprehensively insured throughout the agreement period. We have since received proof of your new cover and the ODP policy has been deactivated. A refund was also processed to your bank account.

We trust that the matter has been handled to your satisfaction.

Kind regards,
WesBank
