Feedback On Loan Application

After waiting 3 months for feedback on my loan application for Private Vehicle Financing I was declined with no communication received from Wesbank. My irritation is not with the fact that I was declined but rather with the fact that consultants at Wesbank do not get back to me. I was approved for the loan at the start of July. I went through the process of doing all the necessary checks and gathering the documentation to the cost of R3000, just to be told that my application was declined due to returned debit orders. I am aware of two debit orders that have been returned in March, when I mentioned this to the consultant I was told that I should provide them with letters from the relevant institutions, which I was able to do but then was told from another consultant that this is not allowed.

Why approve my application and make me spend the money on all the necessary things they request from me, just to decline my application for something that should have been picked up before my application was pre-approved.
