Failire to assist
I have 2 x cars on my name. One with MFC and 1 with Wesbank. When lockdown happened, my partner lost his job and I had to take 2 pay cuts. I asked for assistance from both providers. Both have assisted in 3 month payment relief. After the 3 months, I approached both providers and asked for additional relief as my partner still haven't gotten a job and we could not pay the cars. MFC assisted me again but I have not had a response from Wesbank. Now 4 months later, after sending numerous emails asking for assistance and not receiving anything back, I start getting calls that i should pay R12000 within 48 hours or they will take my car. After explaining to Matricia that MFC could assist me, I was told that they are not MFC, or Toyota finance etc. I asked how can Wesbank assist me during this time. Her rude response was that Wesbank already assisted me by the 3 months relief. And that 1 July the economy opened up again, so they will not assist anymore. We did not ask for lockdown. If it didnt happen, my partner would still have a job and we could pay for the car. Mr president... The economy said that it must be lock down and that is why he lost his job. And Wesbank just dont care.... Matricia said the banks opened 1 July, so Wesbank will only assist until they opened again . my partner didnt get his job back when the banks opened. I am utterly disgusted and do not recommend Wesbank to anyone. They do not care about their clients and do not want to assist them during this difficult time.
