Extremely rude call centre agent
Received a call today from an extremely rude *****, who "demanded" that I send them my proof of insurance. As that what is required under law. Obviously the first time I'm receiving a call like this and having never gone through this process before, I tried to explain to the consultant that I do have insurance. This however was not listened to and I was further inundated with a demand to submit my proof of insurance, after which the call was cut.
Subsequently I received an email outlining what I need to do to submit the proof of insurance and though I understand the processes in place, I think it is completely unnecessary to make demands and be rude to a client over the phone for no reason. At the very least you should teach your consultants to treat everyone with the respect they deserve and not just shoot your mouth off making threats for extra debit orders and demands. Additionally the consultant conveniently forgot to put her details in the email leaving me to to phone back to try to figure out who I was talking do.
I will comply with the request regarding the proof, but I do however expect wesbank to contact me regarding how to go forward from here. If this is how they treat their clients, then I do not want to be affiliated with this bank anymore
