Empty promises for the sake of applying for car finance

I got retreached on the 31st of December 2021, I wrote an email to WesBank to ask for a grace period of 3 months then I can continue with my installment in April, but they said they coundn't help, but before I app**** I ask in case you become retreached what is the process. Answer was I will get the grace period of three month, honestly I'm struggling financially and retreachment package wasn't enough to cover all my expenses, I needed to bounce back but WesBank really disappointed me.
