********* early deductions by Wesbank

For the second time (December 2025 and April 2026), Wesbank has debited my account earlier than our agreed deduction date. This time around, it has cost me an honouring fee of R220.

1. In case you don't understand, there is a good reason why you have an agreed deduction date with your clients. This is to ensure that funds are available by the time you debit them.

2. By sending an SMS a day before your planned deduction date change is just ridiculous. What do you expect? Clients must bend backwards and rake up funds when you haphazardly decide to change your agreement with them?

Just because Debicheck allows you to debit earlier than our agreed deduction date, does not mean you have to. It makes no sense whatsoever to debit a client earlier who has never defaulted on any of his payments.

I'm absolutely shocked by this level of unprofessional behaviour.
