dont know what they are doing

We received a notice from Wesbank, that we needed to proof who insured our vehciel

This was sent to them3 times, adn after the 3rd time they eventaully acknowledged receipt of the proof.

They then went out off on there own, and took ouot an insurance policy. I will not pay this, and they must reverese the transactin on the account along with ant other charges, such as interest. I will not pay for it.

Ive sent Wesbank 20 odd emails to this affect, but they are ignoring it flat. I assume the person that took out the insurance receives a kick back for this?

fix the account, cancel your insurance and reverse any transactions. End of discussion.

Acc number ********** 7337

JM Boshoff

Good day,

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.

Even though you have provided us with proof of comprehensive insurance before you took delivery of the vehicle from the dealer, we must obtain new confirmation from time to time in accordance with the terms of the finance agreement. This is because we find that many customers change insurance often during the course of their agreement period, or even allow their policies to lapse due to affordability reasons.

The purpose of confirming insurance only seeks to verify contractual compliance however in keeping with the freedom of choice addendum, we are not in a position to assume that details have not been amended. According to our records, we tried to acquire confirmation of current insurance from you from October 2016 and even though our attempts were refuted, you confirmed that you're insured with Auto and General and we updated our records accordingly.

To this end, no additional premiums have been debited and as such, there is no refund due. We nevertheless apologise if you received possibly misleading or confusing communication and assure you of our best intentions at all times.

We trust that this matter was dealt with to your satisfaction.

Yours in service.
