Does the Fin dept know what they doing ????

I got a SMS stating i owe 7000,00 on my car payment. and its been handed over to some lawyers , I Then got a sms say that the i must ignore the first SMS as that one is incorrect. I then got a call from a company called Brodie saying i am out standing .I explained that i have had this issue before , and that because i was a few days late it was marked as 'Non payment " I have been paying more than the installment and in May i infect payed double the installment . I have had another vehicle that was paid off before it was due. Now my question if you are paying more per month on your finance , Why did you not email me / call me so we can sort it out ? But no you hand me over like a bad payer and by "handing me over to lawyer " you have besmirched my name . Handle your good clients properly not like *******
