I was requested to provide proof of insurance. Which I have done so on 30 January 2018. The documents I provided is dated 14 SEptember 2017, confirming renewal in November of the same year.
Today, at 11:30, I receive a call from DIRECT AXIS (An insurance company) which claims that my proof of insurance is older than 6 months. Firstly, I did not give consent for alternative insurance companies to call me - This is in breach of ECT act, and will be reported. Secondly, the arrogant consultant does not understand that 2 February 2018, from 14 September 2017, is only 4 months, and +/- 2 weeks. Still less than 6 months, in any instance.
This is nothing more than an unsolicited attempt to create business, without my consent. It is an inconsiderate waste of my billable time.
