Do not use Wesbank to finance your vehicle, they are unreliable.

I am so disappointed with Wesbank Vehicle Finance. I will never recommend Wesbank and its holding companies to anyone. In the time when we, as a country and the world need to work together in finding ways to navigate through the storm of Covid19, Wesbank Vehicle Finance decided to mercilessly treat its customers terribly bad. I have requested for a payment relief about a month ago, sent all necessary documents they required (6 months bank statements, a letter from the employer, current cash flow, monthly expenses and motivation as to why I need the payment relief). I have called their customer service almost 50 times spending close to R700 worth of airtime, sent over 50 follow-up emails. THE CALLS AND EMAIL GO THROUGH, BUT YOU SPEAK TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE, WHO PROMISE TO ATTEND TO THE MATTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All I get is that my query has been escalated to the relevant department since May. I then decided to go to their Head Office in Fairlands, I was told that my query will be attended to before the end of the day, that was the first week of June. We are in the third week of the month; nothing has been resolved. All I need was a response to my application for payment relief. But what I get is excuses and stories that the department dealing with the covid19 cases do not have a direct line and that my matter has been escalated. Even after personally going to their offices, I still couldn't find assistance. I am so disappointed with how Westbank, a company that has been in operation for over 50 years treats its customers, more especially now when they need them most.
