DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER
It's the second time, same scenario. My latest statement shows an advance amount, which I want to claim. But again they've informed me I can't make claim on the amount. Reason being, they're not an transactional bank. They suggested that I could make use of the amount and skip a maximum of 3 instalments or / use the amount towards a capital reduction to reduce my installment amount.
My responds to that is, why should I skip payments so the advance could be used for the shortfall. I want the cash money, because I need it. It's extra money paid, and it's my money. I have the right to decide what should be done with the money. I had the same issue in the past where there was an advance amount, and they also had the same argument. Which was sorted out, after I also had to write a review. I am very upset with Wesbank for not attending to my enquiry, after their last responds on 23 September 2020.
