DISGUSTED THAT YOU CANT EVEN HELP ME WHEN I AM TRYING TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY
On November 7, 2019 my vehicle was uplifted from me due to the vehicle having an arrears amount. In my defence I was not even aware that the outstanding balance was owing. When I contacted Wesbank legal they told me they were sending documents and notifications to my previous address. Had I known there was any summons or warrants I would have acted sooner and sorted the account asap. I am now trying to sort the matter out and Wesbank tells me I have to settle the full R360000 before they will release the vehicle to me because there is a court order. I was never given a chance to appear or defend any court orders or judgments because they were sending to a previous address. My argument is how did they send documents to my previous address but knew to pick up the vehicle from my current address. I have offered to pay up the arrears owing and for goodwill pay for 8 months installments but they still refuse saying I can pay that but they wont release the vehicle until its paid in full. So what do I do for the next 2 years without a vehicle? Surely wesbank can be a bit more lenient I am offering to pay almost half of the owing value, surely they can release the vehicle. I am so disgusted that they have no empathy for customers as I use my vehicle to sustain my family.
