Disappointing service

Good day

I am recently unemployed due to retrenchment. I had a vehicle financed with Wesbank. During the course of the year I was unable to make payments for my instalment. I have contacted the relevant people to advise them that I was unable to make payments. The decision was to sell the car back to the dealership. Wesbank was dealing directly with the dealership in terms of sale and payments. I was only told by Wesbank that I will be given the outstanding amount and a monthly instalment would be given to me to fulfill the remaining of the payment.

It has been 2 months since the car has been sold and that Wesbank has been paid by the dealership, and I have still not been given any instalment for the rest of amount that I owe. I have emails and proof pestering Wesbank for this and I have gotten no response. About a week or two ago, attorneys named Hammond Pole attorneys had contacted me telling me that they are calling me on behalf of Wesbank their client and informing me that if I don’t pay the remaining amount of the money for the vehicle that I will be charged with auto theft. I was so confused because I had done everything the correct way. And I was simply waiting on Wesbank to give me my instalments to pay for the rest of the owing amount. I was also told by the attorneys that I had made the sale for the vehicle and they had assumed I had taken the sale money for myself. I have given them proof of all relevant information on this. And yet I am still being harassed by both parties. I have run out of options and being 8 months pregnant this is highly stressful and unnecessary.
