Defective new car for sale
Good day hope you well I called in but you were unfortunately not available and requested the amount of almost ten thousand rand a month and be reduced for the following reasons , I have had no response despite the notes on the system and the recordings . 1. My initial and current affordability was calculated and I was paying 3850 per month . 2 The unit Suzuki carry displayed a noose on delivery in the engine bay that was foreign the dealer concluded it “ would run in and settle “ I have the video . 3. The vehicle started to show more defective signs of failure . The tie rod ends and suspension was rusting and the windscreen wipers falling off. The traffic officer indicated the vehicle was not in a road worthy condition and that I would be fined should I not repair it . 4. The perforation started to pierce the metal and all the joints displaying large deposits of rust . The vehicle was left behind with the dealer whom had it to repair . The claim for the defective vehicle to be repaired was refused after months of back and forth . I decided to get an assessment done and informed the bank again that the vehicle is defective and it would be better to get a replacement as this one was not road worthy. The bank acknowledged that while they are aware and there was a dispute they would freeze the payment until we had a outcome the dealer and Suzuki sa was again made aware of there obligations firstly to the bank and then as a sell on user myself . The dealership then agreed and proceeded to claim from susuki sa whom on the same basis for the second time approved on certain repairs . The initial request was for a replacement unit that fell on deaf ears . The panel beater whom was tasked to repair the “ new vehicle was visited only to discover they wanted to paint the few parts outside only “ horrified indeed we had to request the repair be done properly by removing the parts and painting the inside of the metal aswell to curb or remove or prevent further rust. We monitored this over the months and eventually had write to them to get the vehicle done timeously . I requested a loan vehicle from the dealership I was refused . I requested a loan vehicle from panelbeater whom claimed there was none and no provision was made therefore by the dealer or susuki sa . I had work to do as is why I bought the truck initially . I have the extra cost of the trailer and vehicle paid for additional to my normal cost of the Suzuki carry R36000.00 . The vehicle has overspray and cracking where it was painted I will be visiting the panalbeater to check it . The realities of this are I have a second hand re sprayed & repaird unit not the new one I bought . The result of this defective vehicle is that it is only worth 80000.00 rand at best . That is the same dealers valuation in writing from them “ yes I have the written valuation from them “ The risk and damages passed on to me is not correct I bought a new vehicle, the time it has taken too get to this is it simply traumatic . I am In light of the above requesting firstly a amendment to my contract to the original amount monthly or close to that . The matter be resolved by Wesbank and to reply to why I should accept the damages and be blamed for the defects , extra costs and devaluation due to this . Please reply to me within five days .
