Debitting my account on settled vehicle
I have begged and pleaded with this company. Numerous amounts of phone calls and emails going back and forth. A week prior to the end of the month, i called this company - TWICE - Spoke to two different people TWICE to inform them that my car is sold, the account has been settled (which they could see from their end) so PLEASE DONT DEBIT MY ACCOUNT. The first lady responded with: "Dont worry sir, it wont be debited, and to make extra sure, i will change your payment type to: Cash."
I then called back after she assisted me and spoke to a gentlemen. I explained the story and he informed me that the account has definitely been settled and that there is no way it can debit my account because it has in fact been changed to cash. 8 days later, they debit my account.
I have been emailing and calling trying to get hold of someone who can assist me with getting a refund. It has been a WEEK since I've heard anything. How can a company mess up, and now YOU must wait this amount of time for a refund or to even engage in conversation??
Prior to this I had MASSIVE issues with this company during COVID19 and the entire country going into lockdown. I asked them for 3 MONTHS to active some sort of pause on my debit orders which in all 3 months they informed me that my account would be paused. They debited all 3 months. - This was the reason why i tried to make sure that my account was settled and the payment option was changed to cash.
Absolutely useless.
