Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and affording us an opportunity to address your concerns.
The WesBank settlement of R105,278.53 was quoted on 23 July 2015 and expired on 27 July 2015 but was only received on 31 July 2015 whilst your debit order was due to run the following day. Unless if an express request to cancel the debit order is received, the Bank cannot accept untoward liability for merely proceeding in terms of the credit agreement that was concluded.
Not withstanding the same, a refund will be processed in line with your request in good faith.
We trust that this is in order and assure you of our best intentions at all times.
Yours faithfully,
WesBank
