Covid-19 Payment Holiday Feedback Needed

I called Wesbank on the 25th of March and finally managed to get through and speak to Ali after being on hold for almost an hour to request a payment holiday for my vehicle repayments do to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Due to my partner having to close his business for the duration of the lockdown as he is not considered an essential service I could not afford to pay the instalment on the 27th of March but Ali informed me that I needed to email required documents to the covidassist email address, but because it was not within 5 days of the debit order date, the debit order would still go off, which it did.

The first 2 emails I sent bounced back due to the covidassist mailbox being full. I sent another email with all the required documents last week Thursday but I have only received an automatic reply that they are having a high volume of emails to deal without. I do understand this, but my debit order is on the 27th of April and I will not have enough money in my account for the payment amount to go off.

I do not want the debit order to bounce and negatively affect my credit rating as all my payments have been up to date thus far. Please can someone contact me to arrange for a 3 month payment holiday and the debit order for the 27th of April to be frozen, as I cannot afford rental, food and all our expenses on my salary alone.

Thank you.
