Complaint - Wesbank. I hope that people thinking of purchasing a new vehicle, Fleet Managers and Asset Managers take note of the above complaint.

COMPLAINT – WESBANK On the 13 June 2025, Wesbank Customer Service Centre contacted me to inform me that our debit order had not been stopped, and 5 extra payments had been made for the vehicle financed by Wesbank, where finalisation of the transfer of ownership occurred in January 2025. They requested proof of the payments of the debit order account, and proof of our business bank account. Both the proof of payment and of the bank account was submitted to Wesbank Customer Service on the 18 June 2025. No reaction was received from Wesbank, and on the 2 July 2025, I forwarded my 18 June 2025 email to Wesbank Customer Service, adding the email addresses Wesbank Collection and Wesbank FCS, requesting for progress of this payment, and requested that Wesbank should keep me informed. I was cc’ed in a Wesbank email on the 3 July 2023, from WesBank Corporative Administrator, addressed to Private Finance Wesbank, and the request was for the “team” to assist. On the 9 July 2025, I forwarded the Wesbank Corporate Administrators email back to the same address, as well as Wesbank FCS and Wesbank Service. In this email I made note that the “team” did not seem to be working and that I humbly suggest that they get someone like Rassie Erasmus to assist with their “team”. I also stated that I would be reporting this poor service to the press if payment had not been received in 24 hours. I also specified the points below. 1. The prompt and excellent service received from Wesbank on completion of the financing of our vehicle, change of ownership, documentation etc., in January 2025.

a. The comparison of the above service from Wesbank, compared to your departments pathetic service.

b. I will also indicate that the amount owing is probably less than what Wesbank makes on financing a single small used vehicle finance.

c. I will suggest that my perception is that Wesbank makes extra profits by prolonging payments of overpaid accounts.

I hope that people thinking of purchasing a new vehicle, Fleet Managers and Asset Managers take note of the above complaint.
