Communicate with your clients

I'm a bit disturbed that I only found out about my debit order being cancelled after calling the Wesbank call centre yesterday to enquire about why they hadn't debited from my account on 31 January. Now I missed the payment date and I'm also being charged interest for failing to pay on time. How do you cancel my debit order and not communicate the cancellation to me? How am I supposed to know that my debit order had been cancelled? If I had known that it was cancelled, I would've deposited the money in time and I would've not been charged interest for going into arrears. It's not fair that I have to pay the interest because you failed to send me even an SMS to notify me. It's very disturbing because I kept in contact with Wesbank a lot last year and the cancellation was never brought up. It's wrong for you not to alert your clients! Is it perhaps because you know that if we aren't aware we'll miss payment and you'll jump on the opportunity of charging us arrears just to make money. Someone should rectify this and stop feeding on our reliance on you to assist us financially. I'm expecting to be contacted.
