Cash Power Loan Application (Consultant Error)

I have a personal loan with Wesbank Cash Power and recently I received my new "reserved offer". I have been waiting a while to apply for this offer and was advised the loan offer would be available from 28 January 2022 by the first consultant I spoke to at the end of last year. On 12 January I called to confirm the date and was advised the date listed on the system was only 3 February 2022. I called in again on Sat 29 January to check what is the actual date I can apply due to conflicting info received by Wesbank Cash Power consultants.

The lady who took the call, Anita, advised the loan offer was due and could be processed immediately. I even asked if Anita was sure about the date before she went ahead and processed the application and she confirmed all is in order. To my surprise, the loan was declined due to applying too early before the due date on 03 February 2022 !!!! This is really frustrating as I was told the loan could be processed.

I was told the query would be sent to the contracts / processing team, supervisors or management to manually correct so the loan could be app**** on the correct due date! I have been trying to get held of someone to assist for 3 days now, on Thursday I called from 11am till 5.40pm non stop being pushed from pillar to post as everyone transferred the call from one person to the next and being cut off continuously.

This was not my error, I did not want to apply before the due date. This is the consultant's error!! Please feel free to pull the recorded call from 29/01. This is totally unfair to have me running around trying to correct Wesbank Cash Power consultant's mistake.

PLEASE can a supervisor or Manager who can actually assist and make business decisions call me urgently tomorrow morning so we can resolve this, reverse the incorrect consultants application, so I can apply now that the due date is available correctly. I expect prompt assistance to resolve this issue!

I will consider changing my rating dependent on the quick resolution of this complaint.
