Car repossession

My mother has a car financed with Wesbank. I have NO accounts with Wesbank at all. My mom is a few months behind on her payments. She's recently fallen ill, I won't get into this. I believe she owes around 30k out of an initial amount of 400k. Yesterday I get a call from someone outside the gate of my SISTER'S house. My mom and I are both living with my sister. The person on the call requests I leave work and go home to open the gate so they can collect my mom's car. I obviously am not able to just leave my job. I told them I cannot. They requested to come and collect my house keys from me. I refused for very valid reasons. Who would give a stranger access to their house? They asked what time I finished work. I told them 5pm. They then threatened to add charges for an extra call out for the towing company etc. Remember, this is not my account. I got hold of my mom, who phoned the bank. She sent me a message advising that she'd spoken to Alistair Samuel who said that she must make an arrangement that she can stick to, but in the mean time the collection people must not take the car. He said to ask them to call him on ********** . I advised the person who was still calling me of this. She put down the phone and I overheard her saying to someone else "Who is Alistair Samuel". I went to gym after work, and received more calls. I heard from someone who lives in the cottage at my sisters house that the people at the gate were threatening to cut it down. This is my sister's house, not my mother's. How can they threaten to damage the property of someone who owes them nothing? Eventually my mom and sister get home from their job, which is about 70km from home. The people still insist they are taking the car. They try force my mom to sign papers in the dark, without letting her read them. When she said she couldn't read them the woman told her she would point at the places my mom must sign. They take the car in the end. To be honest, as someone who owes this company nothing, I feel completely harassed. I am shocked that a company would treat clients like this. Everyone goes through tough times, and that's when you learn what kind of company you're dealing with. I often check hello peter before signing up with a company. I hope this review saves someone from making the mistake of signing up with Wesbank.
