Capital reduction not effected as per my request
I requested a capital reduction on 06/01/2016 (as this was done in January 2015) and requested them to either reduce the instalment or shorten the term. Surprisingly this time, I was told I couldn't shorten the term but reduce the instalment. I then requested the instalment to be reduced only to be told (i) their system does not allow them to reduce the instalment and (ii) the capital reduction will be effected by not applying the whole amount which had been paid in advance by me (and of course, less the interest rebates I got for the past 11 months) but a portion thereof because their system does not allow them to do so!! This is absolutely ridiculous to say the least!!

I have specifically asked Wesbank to reduce my instalment and keep the instalment as is (since they now claim I can't shorten the term).

Why was the system not \manually manipulated"(as was the case previously) to apply all the monies paid in advance since Feb 2015 to date (less their interest rebate which had accrued in my favour for the past 11 months) and reduce my instalment as requested? Try treating your customers fairly!!"""
