Cannot change my physical address

I tried updating my physical address on the Wesbank system as it has changed. I was told to send proof of residence to ********** />I sent my proof of residence, which is a letter from my mother-in-law stating I live on her property as well as a utility bill.
I was then told that it must be stamped by a commissioner of oaths. This is a problem, because I cannot get it signed myself. My mother in law has to go. She is too busy and told me she cannot get time to go the Police to get it stamped. She said Wesbank must contact her should they have issues with the proof of residence. I cannot update my address to the correct one because of this silly requirement. I find this extremely ridiculous. No other bank or financial institution needs proof of residence to be stamped and signed. When I opened my account with Wesbank, my residence did not have to be stamped, but suddenly now it must? I think this is unnecessary as I have provided all the evidence of where I live and Wesbank are welcome check up on the records to prove it by contacting my mother in law or even checking with the utility bill directly regarding the account.

Really not impressed with Wesbank service. Unsatifactory customer service and not customer friendly at all.
