Beware of the Sharks
l have been paying over and above my normal installment as l was trying to pay off my arrears on my account for the past three months, now there is a legal fee of which no one can explain ,sent several emails to their collections department and they is no response. From what l sense Wesbank in the business of milking hard earned money from poor South Africans by charging unexplained fees, repossessing cars and selling them twice, is the interest on arrears not filling their coffers already. They are no discussions about rescheduling or some form of rehabilitation. Their policy is "if you cant pay we increase your installment" or to be correct double your installment" . They write all these lies in the media we are helping client during Covid period by giving payment breaks etc, just to attract investors. How can the arrears be increasing on a monthly basis if one is paying R2000. over and above the normal installment for over 5 month if the arrears in May 2021 was R6800. Having paid R5400 for the past 5 months the arrears should have been cleared already by end of October 2021 but now there are standing at R9000 plus legal fees. Even a person with basic mathematics can tell there is something wrong here.
