Beware of selling your car privately where the buyer wants to finance through Wesbank

Wesbank makes use of an *********** and dubious company called Titleguard when financing private deals.

As the seller, you are inundated with ridiculous requests for information (such as proof that the previous owner - not the current owner/seller - has paid for the vehicle (almost nine years ago).

Endless e-mails and paperwork and in the end, no deal is done, because of their impossible requirements (seems like they only try to solicit their exorbitant vehicle inspection fee and then do not care if the deal is cancelled).

Google Titleguard before even considering becoming a party to a Wesbank transaction (buyer or seller) where they are involved.

Massive waste of your time.

How can a company like FNB/Wesbank/RMB use such a company to handle their transactions?
