Bad service again from Wesbank

Evening,

I have been trying to call the Wesbank call centre on the 0861 number and I have been transferred from pillar to post.

I purchased a Suzuki Dzire about 3 – 4 months ago. The vehicle was finance by Wesbank.

The vehicle was ****** and recovered and was written off on 6 March 2022. Wesbank still charged the normal installment for the vehicle on 25th March 2022 although it was written off on 6th March 2022.

I received 2 settlement letters from Wesbank; 1st dated 29th March 2022, settlement amount was R166800.91 2nd dated 04th April 2022, settlement amount was R16****.25

I don’t understand why the settlement amount would increase if the installment went off on 25th March 2022.

My insurer, Dotsure, paid R134225.00 on 01 April 2022 My shortfall cover with Traficc paid R17233,28 on 16 April 2022

Please could someone advise; 1. Provide some feedback as to why I received 2 settlement letters in a short space of time with 2 different amounts.

2. If my installment could be stopped for April 2022 as AVIS fleet management would be paying the remainder of the monies to Wesbank.

Thanks
