Bad customer service
I paid my vehicle instalment by stop order (directly from salary) on the 21st of December 2015 - the amount of R3200.00 but I forgot to write the Wesbank account number as reference
The amount did not show on my statement obviously because I did not put the reference number on the instalment paid. I called Wesbank and spoke to an unfriendly consultant who said I should send an email. I sent an email and the response was for me to send: date of transaction, account number used and reference used which I did but was advised that funds could not be located.
the stop order even reflects on my payslip that It was paid into wesbank's bank account. My HR intervened but Wesbank still could not assist. I need the funds refunded back to me as I fail to understand how Wesbank can be unable to trace funds as the reference I used couldn't have been used by a million on their clients who paid debit order on the same day I did. someone is not doing their job here. I cannot just lose money like this -

Something must be done to locate the money. It cannot be impossible to locate funds just because there was no ref number.
