Bad customer service
I have a finance lease contract with wesbank for a vehicle i purchased in 2012.We had a fixed installment agreement. I noticed an increase in the installment amount as of November 2014. I called them to ask what it was for and they told me it was for a Hollard insurance . I was very surprised because i already had an insurance contract with another company and have never agreed to another insurance contract. They asked me to send an affidavit and proof of my existing insurance payment so they could be able to reverse they money they've withdrawn from my account(without my consent ). I did likewise and was promised I'd get my refund within 48hours,its been two months now.i went to the FNB offices in Mamelodi-Mahube Valley to complain again. I was told i need to send an affidavit and proof of payment .i did so again, i am still waiting for my refund <br>

Your vehicle is one of your most valuable assets and like you, we are concerned that you remain protected should your vehicle be ****** or written off. In terms of your credit agreement with WesBank you are required to purchase and maintain comprehensive insurance in respect of the vehicle while it is financed with us. Notwithstanding that you have supp**** us with a copy of your insurance at the inception of this agreement, WesBank have experienced that insurance details either change or lapse over this period of time. It is always in the interest of our clients and the Bank to ensure that the asset is covered to prevent financial losses to either party. Hollard and Direct Axis has been mandated by WesBank to contact you for proof of insurance. However should you prefer to deal with WesBank directly you are welcome to send your insurance details to *** or alternatively you can update your details online at www.wesbank.co.za.
You have been contacted by the insurance representatives to discuss the matter further and your refund was processed.
Kind regards,
WesBank
