Lack of Aftersales Service
We bought a vehicle and took delivery from the said dealership on the 14th of March 2026. The sales exec Jared was exceptional from the word go.
Upon delivery we never received the spare key, Jared said the guys from spares didn't give it to him, he would get it to us the following week as there were a few minor things that needed to be done to the vehicle, we were fine with that.
We never did receive the key the following week, Jared said something about not finding the key, but don't worry they would order one, that was also good with us.
Then the delay in us getting the key was due to the war that broke out and the key was on the ship which was delayed due to war etc.
In the meanwhile my brother in law was in the market for a new bakkie, since I was singing Jared's praises he asked me to put me in touch with him. He then bought an Amarok from them. Jared promised a spotters fee to me for the referral.
Jared as since left the dealership without unfortunately tying up lose ends.
Hence leaving us with no spare key or spotters fee as promised.
I have since tried to contacting Weiss Durban several times in the past few weeks to resolve the issue of the spare key and referral fee. I keep leaving messages with a promise that the deputy manager or manger would call me, to this very moment nobody has called back.
The lack of after sales service from this dealership is leaving me highly frustrated.
