You only sell to We buy cars, you NEVER buy from them

Can someone at We buy cars be so kind as to make me a offer on the piece of **** that I bought from you in November 2025. I am a single mother that had to buy a bakkie for my son, I asked the salesman so nicely that I do not know anything about cars. I was aware of all the faults on the bakkie as per the Dekra report and signed for, I was willing to buy it with these faults as I had some extra money to repair these faults. But never did the salesman tell me that it was a built up, code 3 vehicle, please do share with me where I would have seen this information on the dekra report or pre-delivery inspection report ? And even if it is on there somewhere as i looked for it now, thanks for telling me what it means and that such a vehicle is almost impossible to insure and that such a vehicle is almost impossible to sell again. I only realized that it is a built up code 3 vehecle when trying to ensure it, my broker then explained to me what I have bought. When I tried to get hold of the salesman so that he can help me with the insurance, my calls where ignored and my voicenotes was blue ticked. Very strange as before the sale the phone did not even ting once before picked up. I hoped you enjoyed your commission Mr Salesman who disappears after sale is done and do not even answer for help with insurance on your code 3, built up sale which was not disclosed to me. Now that my son is trying to phone him to get a selling price he is also ignored. I have paid for and fixed the following on the vechile since November : New windscreen, R & R front propshaft, replace 2 x CV Joint, replace 8 x rear shackle rubbers, 2 x front brake discs, diff seal, hold down kit, 2 x nuts, must go to electrician for wiring. Replace steering rack, replace power steering pump an oil, Wheel alignment, replace outer CV boot, replace 2 x tie rod ends, replace 4 x ball joints, replace 2 x front wheel bearings, new fan belt, replace 2 x lower control arm, replace 2 x d bushes, replace v-belt tensioner. straighten alternator, replace battery, replace starter, replace starter, replace alternator. This is everything that I have replaced and done with invoice proof in 5 months, since buying the vehicle. My son hardly had a bakkie and out life was very stressful as the bakkie was in for repairs most of the times and it has cost me a lot more. And now the diff has broken, I am done fixing this bakkie and now I want to sell it and get something decent. But guess what, no one wants to buy a code 3 built up vehicle. Mr Salesman, I really hoped that you enjoyed your commission after I asked you so nicely for your honest opinion and help to a single mother who just wanted to buy her son a bakkie and was willing to accept and pay for disclosed faults. We do not have a bakkie now as I can not afford to fix the diff, we can not get someone to buy the piece of **** and I am still paying it off. Everyone I tell this story to has their story to tell and says that "did you not know that you only sell to we buy cars, you NEVER buy from them" So seeing that you buy built up, code 3 vehicles, what will your offer be after I fixed all above with the broken diff ?

I did not get any update from you today. I have tried on numerous reputable platforms to sell the vehicle, no one is interested in even making me an offer, not because the bakkie has a broken diff but no one wants to buy a code 3, built up vehicle. The company said they are not interested as they can see the vehicle has been in 3 accidents. The highest and only offer I got from a well know company who buys damaged code 3 vehicle's was R 80 000, that for a vehicle that I have bought 5 months ago from We buy Cars for R 200 000. (And the bakkie was not in a new accident) Not only have I lost R 120 000 in 5 months I have also spend more than R 60 000 fixing faults that I signed for some that was disclosed to me and some not. I have looked everywhere on the NCO report, the Dekra report, the pre-delivery report, the invoice and the buyers report, I do not see the word built up or code 3 anywhere on any off these documents, I do not see me signing for the knowledge of this or understanding what this means. I paid and signed all documents on the 4th of November 2025, and I only received the Natis documents on the 10th of November (I have whatsApp proof of this), when I forwarded this to my insurer that was the first time I realized that I have bought a problem for myself when no one wanted to insure this vehicle. I phoned my salesman to help, he did not answer, I left a very nice voicenote to ask him to help me with the insurance as I do not understand, he listened to the voicenote and did not reply until today. My son said when I asked him now if he knew it was a built up vehicle that he did see it in brackets on the initial add, he did not know what that meant and when he asked the sales man he said he thinks it is just because the bakkie has a different exhaust pipe. And that was it. My son being 19 years old not knowing anything accepted that answer and me the purchaser was never made aware of the fact and what it actually means. According to my research " See whether the Code 3 status was clearly disclosed in writing, if it was not disclosed, you may have grounds to lodge a complaint with the dealer, the motor industry Ombudsman of South-Africa, or the national Consumer Commision" - so that is exactly what I am going to do next as I bought a vehicle from you 5 months ago, paid R 200 000 and can not sell it today because of it's Code 3 status which was not disclosed to me in writing, which I only realize after the deal was done when I received the natis documents 6 days after the sale, when I phoned your sales man and send him messages and got ignored. I have proof of all of this. So I will let the Motor Industry Ombudsman and the National Consumer act investigate this matter futher

I did phone your customer care number today, a very professional, understanding lady listened to my complaint, she said she will escalate my matter. Problem is, she said she will email or sms me a reference number for the complaint and call, but I never received such a reference number, does that mean it is logged and escalated or must I phone again tomorrow to hear what my reference number is and is the complaint lodged ?
