Worst service I have ever received.
So I wanted to buy a motorcycle from WeBuyCars, I found a 2018 Suzuki GSX-S1000 and got the ball rolling and ask that they include shipping to Cape Town. I get the first OTP and it has an extended warranty attached that I did not ask for. So I contact them and try to get it removed, this then becomes a back and forth and I end up being forced into taking the extended warranty, even though I did not request it. So I sign the OTP and waited for confirmation that the bike has shipped the Saturday. Monday I try to contact the sales person and got no reply, Tuesday I try again, to no avail, so I phone the manager. The dude quit and never finished the sale or got the bike ready for the transport company. Now I have to wait 2 extra weeks to get it here because this guy didn't do his work.
Fast forward two weeks and the new sales man phones me and tells me that I will only be able to get it the Monday after the Second delivery date of Saturday, but that I can get it 9AM and everything will be ready for me. Monday comes and I sign all the paperwork and I leave only at 12 because someone did not do the paperwork correctly at the Midstream branch and the bike could not be released. The Brakengate team helped me out and even offered me free breakfast and coffee because of the wait. Finally get the bike, they inform me that they will contact me as soon as the licensing papers and number plate is ready for collection.
Last week I get a whatsapp stating that I need to do the licensing myself, even though it was a paid for line item. No one said to me I would have to do the licensing. The fact that I was told to expect a call to come pick up my licensing papers and number plate was indication that it was being done by WeBuyCars.
It stated in the email with the OTP that Admin, LICENCE & REGISTRATION FEE was a set amount and on the OTP it was also stated that License and Registration was a line item.
I tried to get it sorted out with the sales person in Midstream and he told me that I still need to pay for the licensing fees. This is a fault on WeBuyCars' side and should be paid by WeBuyCars, not by me the client.
