WORST EXPERIENCE
I purchased a Mazda CX-5 from the Brackenfell branch to be taken to the Midstream branch. My financing was done externally. I did all the necessary from my side to facilitate the transaction. When fetching the car from Midstream, things started going south. No one knew who the sales person was I needed to deal with nor the F&I I had to sign with. Stood around for 2 hours with numerous people coming and going. Eventually signed the papers. I transferred my deposit, but did not receive a proof of payment. Showing that the money went from me to WBC was not good enough. I transferred from a different account as I was pressured. A refund was promised after 1 week was not received or any indication of when or if it has even been processed. When the call centre is called, you get transferred from pillar to post.
Secondly the car has a keyless malfunction warning light, that was not disclosed or seen, I was advised that it will reset.
I took the car to Mazda to find out the spare key was not the original and therefore the warning light. A new key has to be purchased and configured. I requested resolution from WBC to be advised to just lay a complaint on their website. I took the car to Mazda and paid for the configuration. I paid alot of money for a car, not to drive it with a warning light. I expect a refund of the fault. AS I gave WBC ample opportunity to give a resolution.
The experience has been one of the WORST in buying a vehicle.
Rather stick to a dealership that actually takes time in their customers.
I will not recommend any friends or family, or the public to go through we buy cars.
What a disconnect they have.
