Subject: Complaint about the poor service received from We Buy Cars

To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration about the service I received from We Buy Cars. I recently visited one of your branches / dealership with the intention of buying a vehicle. I thought the process would be swift and straightforward, but it turned out to be one of the most unpleasant, frustrating and disappointing experiences i have ever had buying a vehicle. Ive bought a few vehicles through the years via financing but never seen this unprofessional, disorganised and clueless and dishonest people.

I arrived at the dealership was helped by a very help-full salesman and he was the only one during this whole fiasco who i can truly say did everything in his power to resolve and help me. The man himself was also so embarrassed and ashamed of the service i received from the company he was representing. I app**** for a vehicle day 1 was approved paid a security deposit of R5k and went home with the promise i can get the vehicle following day as they had to do a inspection and roadworthy. Day 2 came and it was said there was a delay at workshop and i can collect the vehicle the following day. Day 3 i was told the vehicle has a problem they cant sell it to me which i understood and accepted. I immediately app**** for a vehicle 3 times the value got approved, paid another R45k deposit arranged my insurance and everything from my side was in order within an hour. They came back to me after sitting there for 2 hours and told me the vehicle is not available marketing has it and they have to find out were it is. The poor salesman drove to another dealership as he was instructed by the we buy cars system thats were the vehicle is. He arrived and was told by the staff sorry they cant find the vehicle no one knows were it is. The salesman left called me and gave me the news, i raised my voice he want back to the branch after i ask for the sales manager to find out how can they just loose a vehicle valued at R**** and have no clue were it is?????……The salesman went back and found out the staff was hiding the vehicle with intention’s for someone inside we buy cars to buy the vehicle and hid it away. This scenario turned into several hours. For the next 4 Hours, I sat around waiting without any idea of what was going on or when I would even get the vehicle that i was approved for, i got accept as i paid my deposit and arranged my insurance and all papers was submitted as required. Vehicle eventually arrives after 5 pm only to find out it also has to go do roadworthy and i was told i can get it the following morning. Came back the following day after 12pm this is now on a Saturday the salesman had my car filled with petrol and had the roadworthy done as promised. So i only had to sign contract and leave with my vehicle. But no the finance lady asked the bank for my contract only after 12pm when i arrived and so could not get the contract for me to sign and go. She should have started this process at 8 am and had everything in order as my salesman has done what he promised!!! We have had how many days of chaos and frustration how the hell do you people work and give clients Proffesional service!!!!!No Blerrie !!!!!procedure’s or client urgency taken in to consideration!!! Now i have to wait until Monday another 2 days…..only to maybe and i think only maybe to get my vehicle as i have no faith in that you guys actually know what you do or what goes on in this company!!!This is disgusting and will never in my life recommend we buy cars not even to my worse enemy!!!!!!
