What a way to treated. Disgusting
What a disappointment my wife decided she wanted to downgrade as the kids are now out of the House. This was not the first time we have bought from this dealer and the service was out of this world. Save to say not second time around. My wife chose a Suzuki Swift from Springfield in Durban. She took it for a test drive was happy and we bought it Cash. That was the end of September 2023. She used the car for work as she works at a school on town. Total distance per day probably 12Km. I drove it a few time and it’s drive was very hard I put it down to driving a small car I was used to the Ranger then the Kuga that we had. Move forward to the 5th of December. My Wife phones me totally distraught she says that there is something wrong with the car and she nearly had an accident I was more worried about her but luckily she was not hurt. I rushed to the scene where people had pulled over help the car was tilting to the left I thought she had had a blow out. Then this gentleman comes to me and says your springs fell out. I said what and true enough the front left and rear left springs or coils had come out I checked them and saw that there were pieces of crudely cut rubber that had been pushed in between the coils. We managed to get the car back to my place of work where we put it on the hoist and checked all the springs all of them had pieces of rubber in them. On closer inspect we were to that the coils had been cut so that the car ran lower than normal and when the car was sold the rubber was put in to lift the car and this was the reason why it was such a hard ride. I contacted we buy cars and I was told some one would contact two days later I got a phone call asking what had happened I explained and was told that the problem would be escalated I said I am going to have to replace the springs I was trying go ahead then send us the bill so that we can reimburse you. So I went ahead and got the springs done at a cost of R4200. Nobody got back to me so I left because it was getting close to Christmas so in the new year I tried again. I could never get hold of Cheryl she was away in a meeting etc. so one day I get to speak to Shane she says that my complaint had never been escalated she said said she would take it forward have a chat to Cheryl but she get the money refunded. Again no one got back to me after about 20 phone calls Shane said could I send the documentation again and she would have the refund done before 5. Well she sorted it out all right I got rejection letter at 16H45 saying that I fixed the car without their approval so that I was now in breach of contract. I was happy with the car when we bought it and we should have noticed the springs. This car had a platinum sticker and a COR voucher. The Dekra report said nothing about the spring now what are you to do when you are confronted with a car that is bear perfect. Shame on you WeBuy Cars you have now ruined the relationship for R4200. You told me I must go to. The ombudsman that I will do. So for all you guys out there I can gaurentee the car never went anywhere near a COR outlet all that left to say is bad form
