I recently had a disappointing experience with WeBuyCars in Epping. On Saturday, February 22, 2025, I browsed their website and found a 2016 Land Rover Discovery advertised for R286,800. Intrigued, I decided to visit the dealership the next day, Sunday, February 23, to test drive the vehicle.

Upon arrival, I was left waiting for over an hour without any assistance. Eventually, someone came to help, and I was able to take the vehicle for a test drive. Despite the initial poor service, I was happy with the vehicle and requested the offer to purchase along with the application link.

To my surprise, the salesperson sent me a link with the vehicle now priced at R288,900. When I inquired about the price change, the salesperson claimed it was due to a recent service and provided an invoice as proof. However, the invoice showed that the service was done on February 7, 2025, well before my initial inquiry.

This sudden price increase feels like a rip-off, and I believe WeBuyCars is not trustworthy. I would advise potential buyers to be cautious and consider other dealerships for a more transparent and reliable experience. I have screenshots to prove their dishonesty.
