<div>If you are considering using We Buy Cars, I strongly advise you to think twice and move in the opposite direction. My experience with the Silver Lakes branch has been nothing short of a three month long, continuing nightmare and here are the reasons why you should avoid buying a vehicle from them: Appalling Customer Service: The customer service at We Buy Cars, particularly at the Silver Lakes branch, is shockingly poor. The lack of communication and coordination between the Branch Manager, Sales team, the National Customer Service Manager and his team is utterly abysmal. Each party is quick to accuse the other of incompetence and lack of knowledge regarding specific aspects regarding the sales process, leaving me, the customer, stranded in a sea of confusion and frustration. The excuse provided by We Buy Cars for their lackluster service is that they are a wholesaler, not a dealership. However, this does not excuse the complete breakdown in communication that plagues this branch. The WeBuyCars marketing strategy may focus on "buying" your vehicle, but when it comes to the crucial step of selling these vehicles, they fall miserably short, at least in my case anyway. I have been constantly fed misleading information and advice from everybody I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with My personal experience with +++++, the National Customer Service Manager, has been nothing short of a **********. Issues discussed during face-to-face meetings turned out to be nothing but empty words, as his actions displayed a blatant lack of tact, truth, empathy, and understanding of my situation. It was a classic case of saying one thing to get me out of the meeting room quickly and then WeBuyCars doing the complete opposite, leaving an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. The communication between different departments within We Buy Cars is virtually non-existent. The left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing, and worse yet, they seemed indifferent to the chaos and frustration this caused me. This lack of internal coordination reflects a deep-rooted issue within the branch that should not be ignored. In conclusion, my advice to anyone considering using WeBuyCars, especially the Silver Lakes branch, is simple: steer clear. Buy from a dealership. The level of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and total disregard for customer satisfaction is staggering. Save yourself the headache and hassle by taking your business elsewhere. WeBuyCars may claim to "buy" your vehicle, but what they are potentially selling is a recipe for disappointment and regret. Just my two cents, but trust me, it's worth more than that.</div>

Upon delivery, my vehicle was found to be faulty, with a recorded voice note from the salesperson clearly acknowledging a significant problem with the vehicle. Despite this, it took three months of persistent efforts on my part to address the issues.
Subsequent mechanical problems totaling R70,000, encompassing issues with the turbo, water pump, suspension, clutch, gearbox, and more, were encountered, contrasting starkly with the limited concerns highlighted in the Dekra report, which only mentioned noisy exhaust, control arm bushes, and tires. This discrepancy raises serious concerns about the diagnostic accuracy in this particular case.
My simple request for a courtesy vehicle during the repair process was unreasonably denied, resulting in my vehicle languishing at the workshop for nearly a month. When I was finally informed that additional parts needed to be imported, with an eight-week wait ahead, I expected to be offered temporary transportation assistance, which unfortunately was not provided.
After a month of being without a vehicle, I believe it was reasonable to seek assistance, yet I found myself being passed from one individual to another without any resolution in sight.
It is imperative for prospective customers to be aware that the Dekra reports may not be entirely reliable, potentially leading them into situations akin to the one I have encountered.
I would very much like to hear back from WeBuyCars regarding this matter. It has been my worst vehicle purchasing experience ever and I’ve owned many vehicles.
