WeBuyCars- The Worst Place to buy a car by Far

Where to Start: I enquired about buying a Dekra Platinum rated vehicle. They tried to sell it to me with a dead battery. Only because it was causing massive issues with the electronics of the vehicle did they replace it. In my offer to purchase, I was told delivery would cost R2000, which is fine. Then the F&I says it is free. Great. No one talks to each other there. Let's add that items in cars go "missing" at WeBuyCars: Tyre iron and Jack: "Missing" Retractable Parcel Shelf: "Missing" Center Console Shelf: "Missing" Please note the last two were delivered after the purchase by the previous owner to the WeBuyCars branch and it "Cannot be Located". I took a 10% finance on the car, and their internal finance house, GoMo could not get the correct deposit amount on the finance documentation. They were getting new finance on the car, while I was going to fetch it. You pay R6000 on the road costs, to get 8 liters of fuel (Please note they keep all the tanks empty as per their Salesman. He had to fill up the car before the test drive) just for you to get your reg plates 5 weeks later. They blame a backlog from 6 months ago, at the department, but my old car was relicensed in a week. No, I didn't sell my previous car to them, because their market beating price was R30k less than what I sold it for to another dealer. I noticed the front left tire has a slow leak. I cannot find a puncture, so I take it to TWT. The Dekra Platinum Rated vehicle has 4 bent rims. R3900 for me to fix. The "missing" tire iron and jack would be replaced at my cost of R4500 even though it went "missing" while in their possession. They shrug their shoulders at the parcel tray and shelf that has gone "missing", with Sorry we can't find it. I was told by the salesman that the car still had its original service and warranty plan in place up until July2024. I enquire in about getting my car service as the routine maintenance light comes on. The dealership tells me sorry, the service plan expired in the first week of June. Essentially, they will sell you a non-working vehicle, have the car's parts go missing, and say whoops sorry and move off to the next customer. Unless you really really really want the vehicle that they have, like I did as it was the only one at its price in the country, stay away from them. The vehicle was cheaper than anywhere else as it was in Mbombela.

Hi There,

I still have not heard from a representative from WeBuyCars. Do you guys just respond here to make it look like you are actually willing to help, or is 3 weeks the usuall turn around time for enquiries?
