Webuycars still in contravention of CPA
Webuycars still in contravention of the National consumer protection act despite the NCC ruling that found them guilty of violating consumer rights. I bought a car from webuycars on the 18th December 2025 and I picked up some issues with the car the same day and the following day I reported the problem.
Instead of taking swift action to adress the issue they let the matter drag into 2026. Upon doing their own verification they came to the same conclusion that there really was an issue with the car.
Despite claiming that if there are any breakdown of a car within six months of a purchase they will repair mine broke down the same day yet they refuse to be liable for repairs, and they are stating the high cost of repairs as an excuse.
Even when they ask what is the desirable outcome from you as a client they aren't genuine with that question bottom line is they just won't pay for any repairs like in my case.
I went to great lengths to get the car from them even app**** for vehicle financing now I'm being told it's better the deal be canceled, what about the monies I used to collect the car from their P.E branch? The monies paid for licensing and registration? The installments already paid to the bank? Insurance coverage?
Well the answer is they would rather a client be on the losing side and not them as a business, to them it's money over ethical business practices and client satisfaction. The distress caused to me by webuycars is unforgettable and unforgivable.
