WeBuyCars Sell *******

My husband bought a bakkie in February 2018 from Webuycars. He paid cash for it and took ownership. When he drove out - say about 4 kms I saw that there was black smoke coming out the exhaust. When I phoned him to tell him he said that the engine keeps stalling. We drove on another 2 kms and it came to a complete stop. This was on a Saturday at about 2:30 p.m. When we called the salesman, he told us that there is nothing he can do as they are closing shortly. I just feel that this is atrocious after sales service. We were left on the side of the road, in a very unsavoury area which was extremely unsafe. We then had to call a tow truck to tow the bakkie home. My husband spent 2 months trying to get it fixed and now some 5 months later it is still not 100%. I just feel that we have been given a raw deal and this is certainly not a service at all from a reputable company. Just for the record - He paid R70 000.00 for the bakkie, which is quite a handsome sum to pay, only to be left stranded on the road 5 kms away from the place where he bought it.
