A bike came up on auction and it was a model that gets sold in one day. I had already lost 5 bikes across the country because i couldn't get there within a day as they move so fast, and 1 bike where the salesman had promised to send me details repeatedly so i could pay my deposit - and never did and so that delay cost me the bike.
So a bike came up for auction at webuycars locally (Nandi Drive) so i jumped at the chance. I checked the dekra report and it clearly stated "Clean Report". I then checked the "receiving report" and it showed only a very minor taillight problem. I spoke to the salesman who assured me it was tops. So i paid the deposit, won the auction bid (it was nearing the end so i hadnt had much time) then i dropped everything and rushed off down to Nandi drive. Lo and behold, the bike was in such poor condition that the bike had to be pointed out to me by a salesperson as i had walked past it. The bike was missing side fairings, badges, frame was extremely rusted (a life at at the coast), none of the electrics worked, broken everything, and barely started and backfired profusely. Rear brakes completely needing to be replaced, cylinders and all. I eventually got it started, ran it for a bit, then stopped it and after 2 mins there was a pooooooool of it's oil on the floor. WeBuyCars had clearly concealed everything deliberately, removing all oil before for photos. Gearbox was very sticky. And the instrument cluster was poked. Later quotes were a R22k repair/replacement charge And they had charged me the starting price of a bike of that model in top condition. I of course had no leeway as i had paid my deposit. The Ombudsman ruled that it was bought on auction - and WeBuyCars wouldnt acknowledge that they had given me a blatantly ********* clean dekra report, receiving report and had falsely advertised the bike on auction. Complete Scheisters ! I have photographic proof and 3 witnesses at all stages of what Ive written above.

I also forgot to add another detail - during the invoicing process, i had to wait 2 hours ! Your system kept losing my details from the tablet and i had to keep re-signing the agreement on the tablet.
Then miraculously what happened is you came to me after two hours and asked me to add my final signature (again) not intending me to scroll up. ..... so i did scroll up and ALL my comments i had filled into the signature blocks (because there was nowhere else to write my caveat - you never want the client to disagree to anything dont you) - all of them had disappeared / erased. And some kippie in your admin staff had signed my signature themselves !!! It was clearly **** signatures. I threw a rumpus on the spot (again with multiple witnesses), claiming ***** .... and you admitted that you had filled it in yourself. Nevertheless, because you had me by the short and curlies and it was closing time (2pm) afterhours I signed without my comments.
Now you tell me how that is credible and honest dealings - it certainly lends authenticity to my accusations about the condition of the bike doesnt it !
